Key Role:
Demonstrate knowledge of the program life-cycle from concept development to fielding actual programs. Develop business, sell new work to current clients, and seek out new opportunities. Develop a marketing strategy and execute the strategy by positioning, proposing, and winning new work. Provide analytical support for the oversight of large proposal efforts, formulation of contracts, operating budgets, financial management terms of contracts, and program review sessions with clients. Lead a team of 45+ staff and provide professional training for the staff to ensure advancement. Establish a secondary team of leaders who can backfill during the continual expansion of responsibilities and develop the secondary team by positioning them for growth and development. Monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems, develop solutions, direct the establishment of criteria and engineering support for research, and development, integration, and test programs. This position is located in Troy, MI.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: -15+ years of experience with DoD-related markets -8+ years of experience with DoD acquisition -Experience in working with research and development centers and labs -Knowledge of Army programs, including requirements generation in Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and development and procurement in a Program Executive Office (PEO) -Ability to obtain a security clearance -BA or BS degree   Additional Qualifications: -Experience as a product or project manager  -Experience with engineering -Experience with US Army client relationships -Ability to be a self-starter, aggressive, and engaging -MBA, MA, or MS degree preferred   Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.    Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
